The Bagpiper

I used to live near a park where I would often come across a bagpiper practicing when I was out for a run. No matter how good he sounded, I'm sure his apartment neighbors appreciated his consideration, practicing in the park. Who would ever think I'd see another bagpiper out in the wild, but sure enough, when I looked out from the deck this afternoon there was the plaided creature yowling on the rocks. I assume it was a wedding party below at the restaurant and not a funeral, based on the sweet and melodious moans he was making for them.

Every lighthouse has its keeper. And every keeper has his cat. This guy came running when I said, "hi," and then got some attention from the three of us sitting in the sunlight.
